Meet your guide at our office in Lajes, where your kayak adventure begins with a safety briefing and the distribution of all necessary equipment. Get ready to explore the waters of Pico Island in a unique way!

Kayak Tour

Paddle out from the harbor, and let your guide take you through the fascinating history of Lajes. As you glide across the water, learn about the island’s whaling past, its volcanic geology, and the diverse marine life that thrives in the surrounding ocean. With each stroke, the island’s stories unfold before you. If the water is calm enough, you’ll even enter the crater of an eroded volcano, its walls partially shaped by the waves, offering a truly one-of-a-kind experience.

Snorkelling Stop

Anchor in a natural pool and jump in for a refreshing snorkel. Swim alongside vibrant fish, starfish, urchins, and if you’re lucky, spot an octopus or eel! While you explore underwater, your guide will stay with the kayaks, ensuring everything is secure.

Return to the Office

After a morning of exploration and adventure, paddle back to the harbor and return to the office, filled with memories of Pico’s wild waters.
