Hominis natura reserve the right to cancel activities without prior notice due to adverse weather conditions that can compromise the safety and well-being of participants or the quality of the activity, as well as in cases of force majeure. In such cases we may suggest alternative dates or activities, subject to our availability. Alternatively, if the client prefers, a refund of the activity price can be processed. A fee of €5 per person will be retained from the payment for administrative and reservation management costs.

Cancellation Policy

To cancellations up to 72 hours in advance a fee of €5 per person will be kept from the deposit or payment for administrative and reservation management costs.

To cancellations made between 72 and 48 hours prior to the start of the activity or due to issues with air or sea transportation, a fee of 50% of the activity amount will be charged.

To cancellations made within the 48 hours prior to the start of the activity, no-shows, excessive delay (more than 20 minutes) or the lack of mandatory equipment presented above, a fee of 100% of the activity amount will be charged.

Important Notes

Reservations must be accompanied by all the personal data requested by Hominis natura (for insurance activation and registrations) and by the confirmation of the deposit payment.

The total value of the activity will be charged as soon as it has been initiated, even if: it is not completed due to physical incapacity or customer withdrawal; the weather or other conditions make it impracticable to continue; the safety conditions of the activity are not fulfilled; the guide decides that one or more hikers should stop the activity due to physical incapacity.

The price includes VAT, entrance ticket, insurance (civil liability and accident insurance), and equipment (as specified in the information document).

It is the responsibility of the partner to make the client aware of the cancellation policy, the terms and conditions, the physical and equipment requirements for carrying out the activity, as well as other information that can guarantee the best quality of service.

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that they are in good health and physical condition to carry out the activities.

By choosing to be guided, the client must respect the guide’s recommendations and decisions, which are always aimed at the safety of each participant and the group; therefore, the guide may decide that the client should stop the activity at any point due to physical incapacity.

The company cannot be held responsible for the client’s belongings or accidents caused by the client’s imprudence or disregard of the guide’s suggestions.
