Reaching the summit was made even more special when Steffi treated us to hot tea and the most delicious homemade brownie I've ever tasted. It was such a delightful surprise and a wonderful way to celebrate our achievement.

If you enjoy trekking, I highly recommend this excursion. The view from the top of the mountain is absolutely breathtaking and well worth the effort. However, be prepared for a challenging climb and descent – it's not for everyone!

Our guide up Mt Pico , Steffi, was awesome. Right from our pre departure meeting, she was very clear what the day would look like and what to expect. She was great at setting milestones and working with the entire group (of 12), keeping everyone together and on track. She was always conscious of eveyones safety without under or over doing it Steffi has detailed knowledge of the trail, and with her biology degree, she has a strong knowledge of the natural environment youbwalk through.

Steffi also was kind enough to bring along some homemade surprises, which was a great compliment to our lunch.

The walk is a fantastic challenge, and Steffi gave everyone the psychological confidence to not only achieve it but "enjoy" every step.

I would highly recommend taking on the Mt Pico challenge with these operators they of exceptional quality.
